Linda Orel, Executive Director
Ernest Cook is the president of The Conservation Campaign and a senior vice president of The Trust for Public Land. From his base in Boston, he oversees TPL's national programs. In his dual leadership roles for TCC and TPL, Ernest supervises a network of government relations professionals and political consultants across the country. Over the past decade, he has provided strategic counsel to more than 200 campaigns, and helped to pass measures that will provide more than $20 billion in funding for parks and open space.

Will Abberger is vice president of The Conservation Campaign and the director of TPL's national Conservation Finance program. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, Will leads the work of TCC and TPL in assisting state and local governments and citizen groups to gauge public support for open space and craft ballot measures that generate new sources of funding for land conservation. Will led TPL's efforts to secure legislative approval in 1999 of the Florida Forever Act, the largest legislatively-enacted state conservation land acquisition program. Prior to entering the not-for-profit sector, Cindy worked in corporate finance for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company in its Washington, D.C., headquarters, and also has a background in accounting in the broadcast industry.

Peggy Chiu is counsel to The Conservation Campaign and TPL's Conservation Finance program. As counsel, she oversees compliance with the lobbying, campaign finance, and election laws in the many states and municipalities where TPL and TCC support ballot measures to generate funds for open space and parks. Peggy is based in Denver, Colorado.
