Fostering Coalitions
By providing a neutral platform for like-minded groups to work together to pass ballot initiatives or legislation, the Conservation Campaign allows supporters to pool resources and get the greatest impact from their collective strength.
Ballot measure campaigns: As the sponsor of a ballot measure campaign, we serve as a neutral entity to hold and account for the funds raised by the different organizations in a coalition. We can also help with shared fundraising and collaborative decision-making.
Legislative advocacy: The Conservation Campaign assists coalitions working to generate conservation funding through budget appropriations, the creation of new funding programs or by getting measures referred to the ballot. We hire joint lobbyists and help campaigns develop a plan to achieve their legislative goals.
