The Conservation Campaign and The Trust for Public Land have been directly involved in over one-quarter of all conservation finance measures in the US, generating $68 billion* in new public funding for parks, land conservation, and restoration.
Together we have worked with local and state partners to pass more than 525 ballot initiatives around the country; 81 percent of the measures we have supported won approval. Our advocacy and assistance has also helped win more than 20 state legislative victories. With our partners, we have built a tremendous record of success in creating public funding for land conservation and parks.
The chart below shows the record of success for ballot measures supported by The Conservation Campaign and The Trust for Public Land since 2000 (these numbers reflect dollars approved to acquire conservation land, not for restoration or parks improvements or maintenance).
